How We Compared
We use Veluvanto daily for document management and tested Evernote Advanced plan (~$15/month) in April 2026. We uploaded the same 50 documents — invoices, contracts, receipts, and tax forms — to both services and evaluated how each handles document organization and retrieval.
Veluvanto classified all 50 documents automatically: document type, sender, dates, and amounts. In Evernote, we had to create notebooks manually, tag each document individually, and rely on search to find things later. Evernote's OCR did make text inside scanned PDFs searchable, but there's no auto-classification or metadata extraction.

The ownership change has not resulted in a change of infrastructure location.
Veluvanto is hosted exclusively in EU data centers. Your documents never leave the EU.
